Squamish, B.C. is a municipality and community located in the Howe Sound area. This community has experienced tremendous growth in the past 10 years and the population has increased to approximately 20,000 people. Squamish located on the scenic sea to sky highway overlooks some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. One of the most popular mountains in the nearby area is the Stawamus Chief, which attracts several tourists a day. The Sea to Sky Gondola is now accessible, allowing tourists to ride the gondola to the top to enjoy a view overlooking all of Squamish.

This beautiful city is located pretty much right between Vancouver and Whistler, allowing access to either a very short ride away. Individuals who choose to live here and commute enjoy the payoff of one of the most beautiful places in the world to enjoy nature.

The activities you are able to enjoy in this region are beyond the wildest of imaginations. In the summer months you are able to hike, rock climb, mountain bike, swim, and kite board. In the winter months it is only a short drive to one of the best ski resorts in the world. Whistler offers skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and tubing.
